MammoSTAR® Biopsy Site Marker &
BiomarC® Biopsy Site Marker
Non-metal marking alternatives for unique patient sensitivities
An All-Natural Marking Option
Non-Metal Marking
Marker clips are made of carbon-coated ceramic and feature no metal or animal byproduct. These clips are ideal for patients with allergies or those with specific all-natural preferences.
Optional Carrier Plug
The BiomarC® marker is a bare clip with no resorbable composition that gives clinicians a simple, all-natural marking solution. The MammoSTAR® marker features a lyophilized beta-glucan gel carrier (i.e. simple sugar) to enhance ultrasound visibility for up to 6 months.1
Flexible Options for Your Chosen Biopsy Modality
The MammoSTAR® markers and BiomarC® markers both have applicators compatible with ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsies.
Versatile Sizes
Each marker is available in multiple sizes to meet your needs, including the BiomarC® petite barbell and MammoSTAR® petite gel marker. Petite options may be beneficial for biopsies needing a smaller marker, such as superficial lesions.
