What is the material and size of the Pintuition® Marker?
The Pintuition® Marker is a magnet encased in a medical grade biocompatible titanium material, designed for long-term implantation. The 1.65mm x 5.20mm marker is solid and robust, and cannot break.
Are there multiple probe options?
Yes, there are two options available, an 18mm Pintuition® Probe and an 12mm Pintuition® Slim Probe. The Pintuition® Slim Probe boasts a 55% reduced tip surface area1 and 10cm surgical work length.
Are the Pintuition® Slim Probe and the Pintuition® Probe reusable?
Please refer to the IFU for specific cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing instructions. The probes can be cleaned and disinfected using any legally marketed medical device grade agent suitable for plastics, for example CaviWipes™ HP or Super Sani-Cloth®.
What is the distance and depth detection of the Pintuition® System?
When the probe is 35-50mm away from the marker, the Pintuition® System will provide distance information. When the probe is 0-35mm away from the marker, both distance and direction information will be displayed.
How does GPSDetect® software work?
GPSDetect® software provides real-time directional and distance feedback using audio and visual guidance to locate the marker easily and accurately.
What is TargetLOC® technology?
Both the Pintuition® Probe and the Pintuition® Slim Probe feature technology that allows for precise navigational guidance towards the target. The unique TargetLOC® feature shows you when the probe is aligned above the marker.
