Title: Not All Lumps are Cancer

I'm 29 years old now, and I just had my first baby. Andrew is the center of my life, but when I was 17, my whole world focused on a lump in my breast. I was very scared then and remember waking my mom up in the middle of the night when I felt it. I didn't know what it was and thought for sure I had cancer. It turned out to be a benign lump, but I had to have open surgery to remove it.

And just two years later...another lump and another surgery. After those two surgeries, I swore off biopsies forever. They were so unpleasant, and the scars such embarrassing imperfections, that I avoided doctors and avoided reporting any more lumps to anyone. I didn't want them to even suggest I have another open biopsy, but then I learned about the Mammotome®. I had the biopsy procedure using the Mammotome® System and I can't even compare it to the other scars I have from previous procedures, it's so small - a pencil eraser size. And now I won't be afraid to tell my doctor if I find another one because I know the procedure with Mammotome® is so easy.

I tell everyone I can about the Mammotome. Especially with my new baby...I don't want anything to happen with my health.
