| Q. |
Is a biopsy using the Mammotome Biopsy System accurate? |

| Q. |
How large will the skin incision in my breast be? |
| A. |
The Mammotome probe is inserted into the breast through a ¼ inch incision. The incision does not require stitches, just a small adhesive bandage. An open surgical biopsy typically requires a 1 ½ inch to 2-inch incision.

| Q. |
Will I have a scar from the procedure? |
| A. |
The Mammotome Biopsy System will minimize scarring. With an open surgical procedure, there is a possibility of scarring and disfiguration.
|
| Q. |
Will I be conscious during the procedure? |
| A. |
Yes. The Mammotome Biopsy System requires only local anesthesia.
|
| Q. |
Will I have to be hospitalized? |
| A. |
No. It is an outpatient procedure.
|
| Q. |
Will I be able to feel the MammoMARK Biopsy Site Identifier? |
| A. |
